ampus Development

Southern Catholic College is developing a new campus on a 338 acre property in Dawsonville, Georgia. Construction of Phase 1 of the campus has commenced.

Construction on Phase 1 of the campus, including the general administration building, Olde Main (pictured left), began in the Summer of 2002.

  • Located immediately adjacent to Georgia Route 400 about 2 miles north of the intersection with Highway 53, the pastoral campus will be convenient to students and their families throughout the region.

  • With an initial design by the renowned HOK architectural firm, Southern Catholic College will be a self-contained, residential campus.

  • The campus will be a walking environment, with automobile access limited to the periphery of the property.

  • In addition to residential facilities for undergraduate students, the campus will also feature housing for some faculty in order to build a cohesive college community.

  • Along with academic buildings, an administrative center, student residences, the library, and athletic facilities, the campus will be distinguished by the Southern Catholic College chapel.

  • Parietals and other forms of security will ensure a safe and comfortable setting for students living on campus.

  • Future college plans include development of property adjoining the campus, including retail establishments, restaurants, and technology-related businesses.
